Product Description

The Rapid Influenza A+B Antigen Test Card is an immunochromatographic membrane assay that uses highly sensitive monoclonal antibodies to detect influenza type A and B nucleoprotein antigens in nasopharyngeal swabs and nasal aspirate samples. The reagent pad of the test strip contains the colloidal-gold conjugated with the monoclonal antibodies against Influenza virus A and B; the reaction membrane contains the secondary antibodies for virus A or for B, and the polyclonal antibodies against the mouse globulin, which are pre-immobilized on the membrane. The whole strip is fixed inside a plastic device. This test is only to be used by healthcare professionals, not for home testing. It cannot be used alone as the basis for the diagnosis and exclusion of cases.
