Methacholine Chloride

Application Notes

Methacholine is primarily used to diagnose bronchial hyperreactivity, which is the hallmark of asthma and also occurs in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Acetyl-ß-methylcholine (methacholine), an analog of acetylcholine, is use as a receptor agonist to study processes such as airway hyperresponsiveness associated with asthma.
