T4 bacteriophage gene 32 protein (T4 gp 32) is a specific single-strand-binding protein (purified recombinant form) from the T4 bacteriophage. It is reported to act by binding to single-stranded DNA in a cooperative manner thereby destabilizing double-stranded DNA.
