Human platelet lysate (hPL) is a GMP-grade cell culture supplement, rich in growth factors and cytokines, produced from healthy donor human platelets under GMP-certified conditions with controlled manufacturing and quality oversight. hPL is enriched with Growth Factors, Cytokines, Chemokines, and various other proteins that promote cell growth. This allows cells to flourish to their full potential in a xenogeneic-free environment. Its efficacy can outperform that of other serum additions. During manufacture, multiple donor units are pooled to help reduce lot-to-lot variability and improve consistency. Derived from human platelets, hPL is an effective supplement that promotes the proliferation and migration of mesenchymal stem cells and other human cells. It is frequently used as a supplement in serum-free media or as a replacement for serums such as fetal bovine serum and human AB serum.

| Donor Testing | Donors have been tested by FDA-approved methods and found to be negative for HBsAg, HCV (NAT), HCV, HIV-1/2, HIV-1 (NAT), and Syphilis. As testing cannot completely guarantee that the donor was virus-free, this product should be treated as potentially infectious and only used following appropriate handling precautions such as those described in biological safety level 2. |
