SPINeasy™ DNA/RNA/Protein All-In-One kit는 phenol이나 chloroform 과 같은 유독물질 사용 없이, silica-membrane spin-column technology를 사용하여, 하나의 샘플에서 DNA, RNA, protein components모두를 빠르고 효율적으로 추출할 수 있는 제품입니다. 제품에 포함된 특화된 Lysis Buffer R과 lysing Matrix A를 FastPrep® bead homogenizer와 함께 사용하면 tissue 샘플을 수십 초 이내 효율적으로 lysis 시킬 수 있습니다. 그 후 DNA, RNA, protein은 차례대로 동일한 lysate로부터 정제하게 됩니다. 간단하게 말해, DNA는 첫번째의 spin column에 binding 하게 되고, column을 통과한 용액은 수거되어 RNA 정제에 사용되게 됩니다. 두번째 spin column은 RNA를 capture하게 되고, 이 과정에서 column을 통과한 용액은 단백질 추출에 사용됩니다. DNA와 RNA는 각각 첫번째 column과 두번째 column에 binding 한 상태에서, wash와 elute과정을 거처 DNA와 RNA를 각각 정제하게 됩니다. 최종 추출 단계에서 단백질을 침전시키고, 원심분리로 pellet으로 만든 후 wash 하고 resuspension 하면 됩니다. 각 molecular component는 각각의 downstream application에 바로 사용 가능합니다.
