The SafTest™ Percent Fat Test Kit provides a quantitative measurement of fat content expressed as percent fat and determined on a triglyceride basis. It is intended for quantitative fat-content analysis of appropriately prepared samples.
The assay uses enzymatic hydrolysis of triglycerides followed by an enzymatic and colorimetric measurement. Samples are analyzed using a calibrated SafTest workflow with five calibrators and a control. Dilution is applied as needed based on the sample and testing workflow, and results are adjusted to account for the sample dilution factor.
AOAC Performance Tested Method℠
The SafTest™ Percent Fat Test Kit is AOAC RI PTM Certificate No. 082004 and supported by a published validation study.
Calibrated Dispensing
