Application Notes

Fluorometric determination of calcium and EDTA titration of calcium in the presence of magnesium. Calcein is used to determine the integrity and stability of free and sol-gel entrapped liposomes as well as to measure LLO pore formation, by entrappment inside the lumen of the liposomes. To study ultrasound induced drug uptake by the use of a fluorescent reporter molecule . To quantify the cellular uptake of low molecular weight fluorescent molecules due to transient enhancements of membrane permeability .
