- Effective Inhibitor Removal: A dedicated contaminant-removal step helps reduce co-extracted soil inhibitors, including humic substances, that may interfere with downstream amplification.
- Bead-Beating Sample Lysis: Lysing Matrix YB tubes support mechanical disruption of soil microbial communities when used with a compatible FastPrep instrument.
- Downstream Application Compatibility: Extracted DNA can support PCR, qPCR, long-fragment PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications, including 16S rRNA gene sequencing and whole-genome sequencing, subject to DNA quality and assay requirements.

Designed for use with FastPrep® instruments and included Lysing Matrix E tubes, the workflow combines mechanical lysis, inhibitor removal and DNA purification. Process up to 500 mg of soil per preparation for downstream PCR and environmental microbiology research.
