Application Notes
L-Ascorbyl palmitate is used along with other fatty acid ascorbates such as L-ascorbyl oleate and L-ascorbyl linoleate to protect cells and membranes from oxidative damage. Fatty acid ascorbate molecules have increased solubility in non-polar (lipophilic) environments.
