Human Serum, Pooled, 100 mL

Human serum is the portion of blood with the cells and clotting factors removed. MP Biomedical’s human serums are derived from healthy donors who tested negative for HBsAg, HBV-NAT, HIV-1/2, HCV, HCV RNA, HIV1 RNA, HTLV I/II and Syphilis, as required by FDA regulations. The blood was collected in FDA-licensed commercial donor establishments located in the US and processed in an FDA-registered facility located in the US, in compliance with ethical standards. These individual units are then pooled, filtered via 0.1 µm filter, bottled and tested for mycoplasma, endotoxin, and sterility. Xeno (BSE/TSE): Negative.

Application Notes

Human Serum, Pooled is a base matrix for hormone and steroid calibrators, controls, standards and linearity products. It is also found to have hormone and steroid mass spectrometry applications.
