|Analysis Note||The total protein is measured by absorbance (A280nm). Antibody titer is standardized by equivalence-point precipitation. Each affinity purified antibody is tested for purity at 10 mg/mL using immunoelectrophoresis. The product is goat IgG; no trace of albumin is detected.|
|Antibody Type||Polyclonal Antibody|
|Application Notes||Immunostaining of acetone-fixed frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.|
|Concentration||Antibody: 1.0 mg/mL|
|Applications||Immunoassays | Immunohistochemistry | ELISA | Immunoblot|
|Pack Size||2 mg|
|Physical Appearance||lyophilized powder|
|Preparation Method||The affinity purified antibody is prepared from the specific goat IgG fraction by solid phase absorption. The resulting affinity purified antibody is dialyzed into 0.02M sodium phosphate, 0.14M sodium chloride, pH 7.3, adjusted to standard titer, filtered through a 0.22 µm filter, and vialed. No preservative has been added.|
|Presentation||Affinity purified liquid|
|Recommended Replacement For||855397|
|Solubility||Soluble in water|
|Species Reactivity||Hamster; (Whole Molecule)|
|Specificity||It shows reactivity to hamster IgG; cross-reactivity to other species may exist. Because the antibody is directed against whole IgG; some antibodies are expected to bind light chain sites common to all immunoglobulins.|
|Storage and Handling||Store unopened product at 2-8°C. Store opened material no longer than 1-2 days at 2-8°C unless preservative is added. For long-term storage; aliquot and store with 40% glycerol (v/v) at -20°C.|
|Typical Working Concentration||Suggested working dilutions: 1:50-1:200 for Tissue Staining; 1:100 - 1:500 for Immunoblotting; 1:400 - 2,000 for Elisa|
