    Product Description

    A narrow-spectrum β-lactam antibiotic of the penicillin calss active against gram-positive bacteria, similar to nafcillin. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by blocking the penicillin-binding protein (PBP) needed to form peptidoglycans. Also used to study mechanisms of penicillinase resistance.
