DMEM High Glucose (4.5 g/l), w/o L-Glutamine, w/o Phenol Red

DMEM High Glucose (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) is a standard liquid growth medium that provides basic nutrients for all cell culture applications. This formulation of DMEM comes without L-Glutamine and without Phenol Red. Each of our high-quality cell culture media is manufactured according to the originally published formula or modifications essential to the consistent performance and stability of the culture medium. DMEM supports the growth of various mammalian cells.

Application Notes

The original formulation contained 1.0 g/L of glucose and was used to culture embryonic mouse cells. Since then, it has been modified in several ways. Additionally, the glucose levels have been raised to 4.5 g/L for cells with higher energy demands.
