Preparation Method	The IgG2b (j) MOPC 195 tumor line is a mineral oil (Bayol F)-induced plasmacytoma. The clarified ascites is produced in BALB/c mice, and is filtered through a 0.22 µm filter, vialed and lyophilized
Solubility	Reconstitution: Reconstitute product with 1 mL of deionized or distilled water. Gentle swirling may be used to speed rehydration. Avoid vigorous shaking of the reconstituted material.
Specificity	The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure; with bovine albumin as a standard. Each ascites is tested for immunoglobulin content by radial immunodiffusion with specific antisera following precipitation by ammonium sulfate (See Protocol for Immunoglobulin Precipitation). In addition; the ascites contains the normal threshold of mouse immunoglobulins and ascites proteins.
