MagBeads FastRNA Kit for Soil (Ready-to-Use for MagFlex 96)

The MagBeads FastRNA Kit for Soil (Ready-To-Use for MagFlex-96™) offers an efficient solution for RNA purification from various soil samples. It is designed in a prefilled plate format for seamless compatibility with the MagFlex-96™ System, supporting high-throughput processing of up to 96 samples per run. The magnetic beads used in the kit simplifies the RNA purification process by eliminating complicated DNA removal step, ensuring highly efficient and specific binding of RNA. Specialized wash buffers are provided to ensure high washing efficiency by eliminating proteins, salts, and other impurities through a short wash procedure. The nucleic acid isolated is of high quality, free from contaminants, and fully compatible with downstream applications such as PCR and other molecular techniques.

Figure 1: Performance of the MagBeads FastRNA Kit for Soil (Ready-To-Use for MagFlex-96™) across soil samples with different biomass levels. RNA was extracted from soil samples representing high-, medium-, and low-biomass conditions. Representative gel images show successful RNA recovery with minimal gDNA contamination across all sample types. Bar graphs summarize RNA yield (μg), A260/A280 ratio, and A260/A230 ratio for each biomass group. The results demonstrate that the MagBeads FastRNA Kit for Soil provides consistent RNA isolation with good purity and performance across a wide range of soil sample types.
 

Figure 2: RNA extracted from various soil types was subjected to RT-qPCR targeting 16S rRNA. Consistent Ct values and amplification curves demonstrate the removal of inhibitors and compatibility with sensitive downstream applications including RT-qPCR.
