    MP Biomedicals launches in EMEA rapid tests for respiratory infectious diseases

    Eschwege, Germany: January 15th, 2023- Following the great success during the COVID-19 pandemic, MP Biomedicals is now a key player in the global in vitro diagnostic (IVD) market.

    Our rapid tests for COVID antigens detection as well as IgG and IgM antibodies assessment have already proved their worth on the European market and abroad. MP Biomedicals will continue to serve its mission of advancing the world of health. Accordingly, MP Biomedicals focused on developing immunochromatographic assays for respiratory infectious disease detection.

    In this line, we are happy to launch a group of three IVD rapid tests dedicated for the in vitro qualitative detection of 2019-nCoV, influenza type A, and influenza type B antigens. These tests are CE-marked and for professional use only.

     

    • RAPID INFLUENZA A TEST CARD (FLU A) - SKU# 07FLUA020

    RAPID INFLUENZA A TEST CARD (FLU A) is used for the qualitative detection of influenza type A nucleoprotein antigens in nasopharyngeal swabs, nasal swabs, and nasal aspirate samples. The identification is based on the monoclonal antibodies specific for the nucleoprotein of Influenza virus A. It is intended to aid in the rapid diagnosis of influenza infection.

     

    • RAPID INFLUENZA A + B ANTIGEN TEST CARD - SKU: 07FLUA020AG

    Rapid Influenza A+B Antigen Test Card is used for the qualitative detection of influenza type A and type B nucleoprotein antigens in nasopharyngeal swabs, nasal swabs, and nasal aspirate samples. The identification is based on the monoclonal antibodies specific for the nucleoprotein of Influenza viruses A and B.

    Type A viruses are the most prevalent and are associated with the most serious epidemics, while Type B infection is generally milder.

     

    • COVID-19 Ag+Flu A/Flu B Rapid Test - SKU# 07AG6025FL

    COVID-19 Ag+Flu A/Flu B Rapid Test is used for in vitro qualitative detection of 2019-nCoV antigen, and influenza A/B virus antigens in the human anterior nasal swab, nasopharyngeal swab, and oropharyngeal swab samples.
