FP96 BigFlex Metal Adapter is a large-scale adapter for the FastPrep-96™ and 96™ Pro that holds 8 x 50 mL Lysing Matrix tubes (compatible with SafTest™ Food Inspection System). A wide range of disposable 50 mL Lysing Matrix tubes ensure thorough homogenization of any sample type in seconds. Made from lightweight anodized aluminum, it offers exceptional durability and consistency during homogenization. Frozen samples can be directly loaded into the adapter for immediate processing, minimizing hands-on steps and reducing the risk of cellular degradation.

Application Notes

FP96 BigFlex Metal Adapter is a large sample volume adapter that is ideally suited for DNA and RNA isolation, enzyme isolation and protein production, natural products isolation, food preparation for quality analysis, biopharma manufacturing, and forensic applications. Additionally, frozen samples in Lysing Matrix tubes loaded in the adapter and stored at -20 °C or -80 °C are ready to be immediately processed with minimal hands-on manipulation, preventing degradation of cellular components by endogenous enzymes.
