RNAintact Stabilization Solution

RNAintact Stabilization Solution is an aqueous sample storage reagent that stabilizes and preserves RNA in samples for an extended period at wide range of storage conditions (up to 37◦C and suitable for freezing temperature storage up to -80◦C). The solution has been tested to have wide compatibility with various sample types, ranging from bacteria, tissue culture cells, animal tissues and even to the extent of preserving some plant tissues. RNAintact Stabilization Solution offers as a quick and easy-to-use RNA preservation buffer that allows instantaneous field sample storage when refrigerated storage is unavailable.
Performance
The following data showed the RNA quality of RNA extraction from various samples stored in RNAintact Stabilization Solution, showing effective RNA preservation effect across wide range of storage conditions. The RNA extracted is also suitable for qPCR analyses.

Application Notes
By storing samples in RNAintact Stabilization Solution, the solution protects RNA in sample from degradation by rapidly inactivating the enzymatic activities of RNase, leaving RNA to be stored under RNase-free environment. Moreover, it is easy to perform RNA isolation from samples stored in RNAintact Stabilization Solution as the solution is compatible with most RNA isolation procedures including Trizol and spin column kits. Samples stored in RNAintact Stabilization Solution has showed to yield good quality RNA that is suitable for downstream applications (e.g.: gene expression by PCR and real time-PCR).
