Application Notes
Pyruvate Oxidase is used to study pyruvate metabolism. It is used to study aerobic metabolism of bacterium, such as Lactobacillus plantarumand Streptococcus pneumoniae. It is also used for enzymatic determination of pyruvate, GOT, and GPT in clinical analysis.
