About Speaker
Marina Papaiakovou holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, and an MSc in Biological Sciences from Smith College. She is currently studying for a PhD at the University of Cambridge with a focus on discovery and validation of biomarkers and infection signatures to facilitate early diagnosis of helminth infections in stool & profile disease framework based on microbiome changes, for a better understanding of host-parasite interactions.
