The SafTest™ Alkenal Test Kit provides quantitative measurement of alkenals associated with secondary lipid oxidation in fat-containing samples. The assay is used within the SafTest™ workflow to evaluate oxidative changes through alkenal measurement.
Prepared samples are analyzed using a calibrated assay workflow with Alkenal reagents, four calibrators, and a control. When sample dilution is required, the user adjusts the analyzer result to account for the dilution factor.
Calibrated Dispensing
For calibrated reagent dispensing, use the SafTest™ Alkenal Dispenser Set designed for this assay.
