Product Description

The AFC substrates have both chromogenic (E380 = 12600M-1Cm-1) and fluorogenic (Excitation 400 nm and Emission 505 nm) characteristics. The specificity and sensitivity of AFC allow for the detection of enzyme activities in cell lysate or electrophoretic gels. It is flurogenic substrate for Cathepsin D.
