Specificity	The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure; with bovine albumin as a standard. Antibody titer is standardized with an in-house control by immunoelectrophoresis. Each antiserum is tested for specificity at a minimum of 80 mg/ml using immunoelectrophoresis. It shows reactivity to swine serum; cross-reactivity to other species may exist.
