|Antibody Type||Polyclonal Antibody|
|Application Notes||This product is suitable for use as a precipitating antibody. It gives sharp precipitin lines in immunoelectrophoresis and immunodiffusion techniques.|
|Base Catalog Number||55030|
|Concentration||Total Protein: 24.6 mg/ml Antibody Protein: 3 mg/ml|
|Pack Size||2 mL|
|Solubility||Reconstitute product with 2.0 ml of deionized or distilled water. Gentle swirling may be used to speed rehydration. Avoid vigorous shaking of the reconstituted material.|
|Specificity||The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure; with bovine albumin as a standard. Antibody titer is standardized to an in-house standard by equivalence-point precipitation. Each IgG fraction is tested for purity and specificity at a minimum of 40 mg/ml using immunoelectrophoresis. The product is mostly goat IgG; no trace of albumin is detected. It shows reactivity to human alpha-1-antitrypsin; cross-reactivity to other species may exist. Antibody activity to other serum proteins is not present.|
|Typical Working Concentration||1:500 - 1:4,000 for Tissue Staining 1:1,000 - 1:8,000 for Immunoblotting 1:2,000 - 1:16,000 for Elisa|
