Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers to gather input to develop new products
  • Driving the product development process through commercial launch
  • Work in a highly collaborative team environment and willing to take ownership to help grow the business to the next level of success
  • Assist in the development and implementation of various product launches, pricing strategies, content generation and messaging
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plan to grow the business as well as to increase the market share for existing key products
  • Identifying, establishing and managing relationships with customers, suppliers and industry opinion leaders
  • Good sense in market trends, be able to adapt to rapidly evolving market
  • The Product Manager is ultimately responsible for revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and market share objectives
  • Perform market research; define market trends, investigate customer needs, define product concept, customer requirement, and product requirement
  • Serve as product champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with key accounts. An effective performer will maintain close interaction with field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, product value proposition, pricing tactics, and customer support
  • Perform product life cycle evaluation and monitoring. Responsibilities include pricing /margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum, and customer intimacy efforts
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with potential OEM partners including pricing, supply chain, etc
  • Assist in managing other product portfolio as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience (prior sales or PM work) in a Life Science industry
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Development, Process Development is highly preferred.
  • Experience in 21. CFR. Part 210, 211, 820 is highly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix management structure and partner seamlessly within the organization
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, relationship building, project management and planning/prioritization
