Ceramic Spheres, 1.4 mm, bulk, 1 kg

Zirconium oxide coated beads. For use on FastPrep® instruments or any bead beater.


Glass Beads, 4 mm, Bulk, 250 g

4 mm glass beads, for use on FastPrep® instruments or any bead beating device.

FastDNA™ Garnet Matrix, 2 mL tubes, pack of 100

Tube contains garnet matrix. For use on FastPrep® instruments or any bead beater.


Lysing Matrix D, Bulk, 500 g

1.4 mm ceramic spheres. Lysing Matrix D is found in the FastDNA Green SPIN Kit for isolation of genomic DNA from plant and animal tissue and the FastRNA Pro Green Kit for isolation of total RNA from plant and animal tissues.

Lysing Matrix F, Bulk, 500 g

1.6 mm aluminum oxide and silicon carbide particles. Matrix F is effective at breaking tough, hard, or brittle cell membranes. Useful in applicationt that necessitate high impaction but low shearing.


Lysing Matrix S, bulk, 1 kg

1/8" (3.175 mm) diameter stainless steel beads to break hard/brittle samples. Ideal for extraction from difficult samples where lysis by impaction only with minimal amounts of mechanical shearing is preferable.


Steel grinding beads, 5.5 mm, bulk, 1 kg

5.5 mm (.25 cal) stainless steel grinding beads. Used to break hard, brittle samples.


Ceramic Spheres, 6.35 mm (1/4"), bulk

Zirconium oxide coated beads. Designed to grind human, animal and plant tissues, bacteria, yeast and fungi. Also used for organelles and virus isolation from tissue. For use on FastPrep® instruments or any bead beater.


Lysing Matrix B, Bulk

0.1 mm silica spheres. Lysing Matrix B is found in the FastRNA™ Pro Blue Kit and FastProtein™ Blue Matrix.


Lysing Matrix C, Bulk

1 mm silica spheres. Found in the FastRNA Pro Red Kit and FastProtein Red Matrix. Lysing Matrix C is used primarily for lysis of yeast and fungi and can also be used for molds, spores and filamentous algae.


Lysing Matrix Y, bulk

0.5 mm yttria-stabilized zirconium oxide beads. Ideal for cracking of very tough cell walls, while minimizing shearing. Used primarily for bacteria, fungal tissue and spores, yeasts, molds, filamentous algaes and biofilms.


Lysing Matrix Z, bulk

2.0 mm spherical, yttria-stabilized zirconium oxide. Matrix Z grinding beads are chemically inert and will not bind nucleic acids.


Lysing Matrix A, bulk

Garnet Matrix is made of sharp, angular flakes that are chemically inert and will not bind nucleic acids. Used to grind animal and plant tissues, insects, nematodes and lyse bacteria, yeast, fungi, algae.
