Agarose, immunodiffusion grade
The backbone of agarose is that of alternating ß-D-galactapyranose and 3,6-anhydro-a-L-galactapyranose linked together by glycosidic bonds. Sulfate ester, methoxyl and carboxyl groups in various amounts and combinations are attached to the backbone.
Freund's complete adjuvant, 50 mL
Product is made by a modification of Freund's technique, in which 25 mg of Mycobacterium is suspended in a mixture of 7.5 mL Arlacel A and 42.5 mL paraffin oil. An adjuvant is a material which when administered enhances the antibody response of animals injected with antigen.
