Job Summary
The primary function of this position is to maintain the current and new building HVAC units within reason, electrical distribution system, mechanical equipment to include Clean rooms, production equipment, lab equipment, perform basic carpentry and drywall repairs. Perform preventative maintenance on all necessary equipment to maintain production goals and standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
- Perform electrical repairs to lighting and all distribution equipment.
- Help troubleshoot basic HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, contact and relay issues to outside contractors.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of assembly and repair parts for production and building equipment, to include Clean Rooms and Lab equipment.
- Basic Facility maintenance responsibilities to include carpentry, drywall repair, painting, moving office furniture.
- Responsible for maintaining Building landscaping and snow removal as well as outdoor lighting.
- Establish relationship with vendors and contractors.
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Maintain lockout/tagout safety protocols.
- Operate related motorized and non-motorized equipment such as company van, towmotors, and scissor lift.
- Lead, support and train other technicians in the department as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years Facility Maintenance experience
- Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical issues
- Basic electrical and HVAC knowledge
- Vocational School Training Preferred
