Sodium Phosphate Dibasic
Product Description
Sodium Phosphate Dibasic
Application Notes
Disodium phosphate is used in conjunction with trisodium phosphate in many steam-boiler applications. It supplies the inventory of free phosphates to retard calcium scale formation. Used as a sequestrant, emulsifier and buffer in foods, as mordant in dyeing, for weighting silk, in tanning, in manufacture of enamels, ceramics, detergents, as a fireproofing agent, in soldering and brazing instead of borax, as reagent and buffer in analytical chemistry, as a cathartic, and as a laxative.
Usage Statement
Research Use Only (RUO). Unless otherwise stated in our catalog or other company documentation accompanying the product(s), our products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals.
