Description

Product Description

Indocyanine Green

Application Notes

Indocyanine Green is a negatively charged polymethine dye that forms noncovalent fluorescent complexes with proteins. This "pseudofluorogenic" property has been utilized for protein determination by capillary electrophoresis with diode laser-induced fluorescence detection. ICG is a fluorescent dye which is used in medicine as an indicator substance (e.g. for photometric hepatic function diagnostics and fluorescence angiography) in cardiac, circulatory, hepatic and ophthalmic conditions. It has been used to resolve several labeled proteins including: human serum albumin, ribonuclease A, transferrin, and cytochrome c

Usage Statement

Research Use Only (RUO). Unless otherwise stated in our catalog or other company documentation accompanying the product(s), our products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals.
