Product Overview Hyaluronidase
Source Ovine Testes
Specific Activity ≥1,000 I.U./mg material
Specificity Testicular hyaluronidase hydrolyzes the endo-N-acetylhexosaminic bonds of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfuric acids A and C (but not B); primarily to tetrasaccharide residues. Monosaccharides are not liberated.
Storage and Handling Store at -20 °C.
Typical Working Concentration For Hyaluronic acid measurement assay-stock solution of enzyme at one mg/mL in 0.1 M sodium phosphate buffer pH 5.3 with 0.15 M sodium chloride.
Unit Definition That amount of enzyme causing the same turbidity reduction as the "International Unit" (I.U.) as compared with the international standard.
Usage Statement Research Use Only (RUO). Ready for CE IVD labeling of clinical applications.
