Allows user to Activate/Deactivate various audible warnings
The Buzzer Warnings feature controls the level of sound made for various minor confirmatory indication or out of compliance parameters. The user has the option to continue/over-ride these warnings. Toggle [ON] activates while [OFF] silences this feature. Examples of these warnings include: Program parameter is not acceptable, Assay aborted in session, New parameters saved, Assay deleted, Assay initiated, Data storage near capacity, Assay time complete, instrument warm
Allows user to Activate/Deactivate Strobe Effect Feature
The Strobe Effect feature is unique to the FastPrep 5G and controls the two strobe lights located within the sample chamber. The Strobe Effect is useful for optimizing assay parameters because it allows for visual inspection of sample lysis progression in real time. The strobes are synchronized to the speed of the sample tube and visually "stops action" of the tube, and is of special interest to new method development, and those working with pathogenic or otherwise dangerous samples, as well as low abundance or precious samples. Toggle [ON] to enable strobe lighting and [OFF] to disable this feature.
